Dick’s Trademart Wholesale scours gift shows and manufacturers for over-supplied products or close-outs. They specialize in Christmas gifts and wrappings, birthday items, party items (like paper plates, etc.), and many related items.
When they acquire new product lines, they send out announcements and catalogs to their own list of consumers and retail outlets and quickly sell out. If they find a product or design that moves especially well, and if copyrights and trademarks permit, sometimes requiring licensing, they manufacture their “close-out” items. The hallmark of their operation is low price, high volume, and fast, targeted forays into the direct market at the right time. Among their most successful products are birthday and Christmas wrapping paper and accessories, birthday cards and books, and toys.
Although they are a major supplier to chain stores and gift shops, they also maintain a large direct marketing effort targeted to the gift buyer, special events such as birthdays, anniversaries, and graduations. Selects include recency, geography, and gender. There is no age select available. Consumer average order size is $49.

Key coding is $5/M. Media charge of $50 flat includes one of the following: E-Mail, FTP, Disk, FedEx Shipping & Handling. Pressure-sensitive labels are $15/M.
